“Exiting the Garden” - Rev Mitra Jafarzadeh

Adam and Eve escaped the garden. Buddha woke up.  Pop culture has offered us the theme of free people exiting false worlds in such films as “The Truman Show” and “The Matrix.” This Sunday we will explore the Hindu concept of Maya (illusion) through stories our own culture has created.

Our Mission: St. John’s is committed to creating a safe and caring community, working for peace and social justice, and celebrating beliefs that respect freedom of thought.
