“From the Beatles to the Bible, Is Love Really All We Need?”  Amy Shaw, Ministerial Intern

We hear the word over and over again, everywhere from fleeting pop culture references to revered religious teachings.

But if Love is the answer, what are the questions? Come join me in an exploration of what it means to love one another throughout our daily lives.

Our Mission: St. John’s is committed to creating a safe and caring community, working for peace and social justice, and celebrating beliefs that respect freedom of thought.

2011 2012 St. John's Music Series Concert:  Saturday, February 11 at 5:30 pm

Bach-analia Wine Tasting and McManusTracker Organ Sampling

Join Rodney Barbour, acclaimed organist, as he takes you on a musical journey through the “rank” and file of the McManus Tracker Organ.  Guests will enjoy a little Bach and some wine sampling and light hors d'oeuvres. You will bring a wine to sample – something to “accompany” the music of the evening.

Rodney Barbour’s performance career has taken many directions. From early performances in dance bands, the Holiday on Ice Orchestra and the Ringling Brothers-
Barnum and Bailey Circus Band, Rodney developed as a featured entertainer for 10 years on the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ (4 manual, 33 rank) at the Springdale Music Palace
in Cincinnati. This man knows what he is doing and will do it on St. John’s own Tracker.

Come experience this magnificent instrument at the hands of a gifted artist.

As she says, “There is a special joy or me in being alive at this time in history, in being on my particular journey, and in sharing the company of the companions that journey with me.” Click here for more on Rev.
