On All Snakes Day we celebrated serpentine energy as an alternative to St. Patrick's day.

It was a wonderful celebration, thanks to the many sponsors, performers & vendors, and thanks to all who attended!

We couldn't have done it without you.

Dinner was great!

We had so many wonderful people sharing their wares with us!

The room was full of color and creative energy.

Three honored guests await the main rite with their keepers.

Images of the beautiful evening rite, led by Ancient Path Grove, ADF.

The sanctuary at St. John's where the rite was held was designed in harmony with the sun's path across the sky. Skylights, designs on the walls & floor, and the placement of a sculpture all trace the sun's movement at the Pagan high holidays.

These images are of the evening performances by a terrific group of musicians and dancers.

Best Alternative St. Patrick’s Day Celebration:
The All Snakes Day Faire at St. John’s Unitarian Church in Clifton. The March 15 event was devoted to celebrating paganism, Celtic culture and its followers — the metaphorical “snakes” whom St. Patrick set out to convert in Ireland in the year 432 A.D. Green mead, anyone?
